Welcome to Practical Safety Advisory Tools (PSA Tools). By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, accessing the platform or using any documents generated by PSA Tools, you agree to these Terms of Use.
1. About PSA Tools
PSA Tools is an online document generation and management platform designed to assist businesses with practical workplace safety documentation, including Safe Work Method Statements, pre-start checks, asset records, acknowledgements, corrective actions and maintenance-related records.
PSA Tools is a support tool only. It is not a substitute for professional safety advice, legal advice, engineering advice, workplace supervision or competent review.
2. User responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that all information entered into PSA Tools is accurate, complete and appropriate for your workplace, workers, equipment, task and conditions.
Any document generated by PSA Tools must be reviewed and approved by a competent person before use.
You remain responsible for complying with all applicable workplace health and safety laws, regulations, codes of practice, contractual requirements and site-specific procedures.
3. Use at your own risk
Use of PSA Tools, and use of any document or record generated through PSA Tools, is at your own risk.
Practical Safety Advisory does not warrant that any generated document is suitable for a particular workplace, task, site, project, item of plant, item of equipment or legal requirement.
PSA Tools does not guarantee that use of the platform will prevent incidents, injuries, losses, claims, penalties, regulatory action or prosecutions.
4. No professional advice
Information produced by PSA Tools is general in nature. It does not constitute legal advice, engineering advice, workplace health and safety consulting advice, certification, approval or assurance of compliance.
You should obtain independent professional advice where appropriate.
5. Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login details and for all activity that occurs through your account. You must notify Practical Safety Advisory if you become aware of unauthorised access or suspected misuse.
6. Subscription plans
Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Plan features and prices may change from time to time, although existing subscriptions will continue in accordance with applicable billing arrangements and law.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use PSA Tools for unlawful purposes, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with system security, upload malicious content, or use the platform in a way that may damage Practical Safety Advisory or other users.
8. Availability
Reasonable efforts are made to keep PSA Tools available, but the platform is provided on an as available basis. Practical Safety Advisory does not guarantee uninterrupted access.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Practical Safety Advisory excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of revenue, business interruption, regulatory penalties, workplace incidents, personal injury claims or losses arising from use of PSA Tools or generated documents.
Any liability that cannot be excluded by law is limited, where permitted, to the amount paid by the user for the relevant subscription during the previous twelve months.
10. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Practical Safety Advisory may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached or if continued access presents a security, legal or operational risk.
11. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of PSA Tools after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
